Half Dome from Glacier Point at night, Yosemite Park, CA - August 2010
2 agosto 2010: Ecco una prima foto del giro States 2010: e' l'Half Dome - una delle montagne piu' belle dello Yosemite - un'oretta dopo il tramonto. In realta' era molto piu' buio di quanto appaia in foto, ho usato una lunga esposizione per catturare l'ultima luce del crepuscolo sul granito della montagna, e il movimento delle stelle nel cielo. Qui non sanno nemmeno cosa sia l'inquinamento luminoso, poco dopo aver fatto questa foto e' apparsa la Via Lattea in tutto il suo splendore.. nei prossimo giorni carico altri scatti :)

5 agosto 2010: il viaggio continua: ora sono a Las Vegas, che e' cambiata un po' rispetto alla mia prima visita di due anni fa.
la foto in home page l'ho scattata nella Death Valley, ieri notte. Sono di spalle, per cui non potete vedere la mia espressione tra l'inebetito e l'estasiato davanti a uno spettacolo simile :D
Nel frattempo, il concetto di "caldo" ha assunto un significato tutto nuovo per me, credetemi :D

7 agosto 2010: Tappa di due notti al Grand Canyon, stamattina ci siamo svegliati con la pioggia. La giornata si prospettava povera di spunti fotografici, e invece ci ha regalato parecchie soprese, tra cui un bellissimo tramonto sopra le nuvole :)
